Located in Guizhou province, Guiyang is known for its ethnic minority cultures, mountain landscapes, abundant greenery and mild climate. Visitors can explore Qingyan Ancient Town, one of China’s best-preserved historical towns, or head southwest of Guiyang to Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of Asia’s largest waterfalls.

One-way Economy Class fares to Guiyang start from S$158, inclusive of taxes. Tickets are available for booking from 20 August through Scoot’s website and mobile application, with availability through other booking channels to follow.

With the addition of Guiyang, Scoot will operate 81 weekly flights to 16 cities across mainland China. Its overall network will grow to 86 destinations across 18 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Europe.

Scoot will also increase flight frequencies across several destinations to meet anticipated demand during the year-end holiday period. The changes form part of the airline’s Northern Winter 2026/2027 schedule, which runs from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027.

In Southeast Asia, flights to Hat Yai will increase from 12 to 14 times weekly, while Phuket services will rise from 17 to 21 times weekly. Flights to Clark will increase from seven to 10 times weekly from December 2026, while services to Kota Kinabalu will rise from 10 to 13 times weekly from January 2027.

Scoot will also operate daily flights to Phu Quoc, with a gradual transition from the Embraer E190-E2 aircraft to aircraft from the Airbus A320 family.

Elsewhere in the region, flights to Okinawa will increase from four to five times weekly, while services to Tiruchirappalli will rise from 12 to 14 times weekly from December 2026.

The new Guiyang service and additional frequencies across Scoot’s network are part of the airline’s continued capacity expansion, providing travellers with more flight options as demand for regional travel is expected to rise towards the end of the year.
