MINI Paul Smith Edition Now In Singapore

On 10th September, MINI Asia announced the availability of MINI Paul Smith Edition in Singapore.

This isn’t the first time these two British icons have collaborated. It all began in 1998 with a limited-edition Classic Mini in a Paul Smith-created blue with matching anthracite alloy wheels.

In 1999, to mark the classic MINI’s 40th birthday, Smith designed a one-off with 86 stripes across 26 colours.

The relationship lay dormant for two decades before resurfacing in 2021 with the MINI STRIP, a minimalist study in restraint that used only what Paul Smith deemed necessary. In 2022, the MINI Recharged by Paul Smith transformed a 1998 Paul Smith Edition Classic Mini into a modernised electric vehicle.

The current Paul Smith Edition represents the most expansive expression yet of this philosophy: a production model available across new MINI platforms, beginning with the Cooper SE.

Paul Smith Touches

The Paul Smith Edition offers two paint finishes: Statement Grey and Inspired White. Statement Grey revives the bluish-tinted grey of the 1959 Mini Austin Seven. Inspired White draws from the Classic Mini’s popular beige.

The design language emerges through Nottingham Green, a tribute to Paul Smith’s hometown, applied to the roof, side mirrors, radiator grille, and wheel hub covers.

The Signature Stripe, Paul Smith’s trademark design element, appears along the roof line in Nottingham Green at the rear.

The 18-inch Night Spoke aluminium wheels come in Dark Steel Flash with tinted clear coat. MINI logos at front and rear appear in newly designed Black Blue.

The Paul Smith touch continues into the interior. Nightshade Blue sports seats in Vescin combine knitted textile in the shoulder and headrest areas with leather elsewhere.

The dashboard and door panels feature knitted surfaces in black, while Paul Smith’s signature stripe patterns inspire the dashboard structure itself.

Other small details complete the interior: the door sill reads “Every day is a new beginning.” A stylized rabbit graphic, hand-drawn by Paul Smith, appears on the floor mat. Why rabbit? Because Paul Smith considers this animal to be his good luck charm.

Competent Electric Underneath

This edition launches on the MINI Cooper SE, the all-electric variant. The Cooper SE delivers 160 kW and 218 horsepower, reaching 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The 49.2 kWh battery provides up to 402 km range on a full charge.

The MINI Cooper SE Paul Smith Edition retails for SGD $282,888.

MINI Paul Smith Public Showcase

MINI Habitat, located at 27 Leng Kee Road, opens the MINI Paul Smith Showcase to the public on 19 September 2026 from 8:30am to 7:00pm. Visitors can examine the vehicle, participate in postcard-making, have Leica instant photographs taken, enjoy Paul Smith-inspired refreshments, and collect limited-edition gifts while stocks last.
