Tokyo’s Viral RAMEN CLUB Snack Pops Up in Singapore with Ramen-Inspired Crunchy Treats

Singapore snack lovers can soon get a taste of one of Tokyo’s most talked-about food trends as RAMEN CLUB makes its debut in the city with two limited-time pop-ups this May and June.

Originally launched in Tokyo by Hokkaido Confect Group, RAMEN CLUB gained attention for transforming Japan’s iconic ramen dish into a crunchy snack experience complete with noodles, toppings, and soup-inspired flavours.

The brand will first appear at Boutiques Singapore from 15 to 17 May 2026, before moving to a three-week pop-up at Orchard Central from 18 May to 7 June 2026.

A Viral Japanese Snack Concept

RAMEN CLUB quickly became a hit in Japan after early test sales in Hokkaido reportedly moved around 140,000 bags within a month. Its Tokyo Station store has also drawn strong demand from tourists and locals looking for an unusual edible souvenir.

What makes the brand stand out is its playful concept: turning every part of a ramen bowl into a snack. From crispy noodles to toppings and broth-inspired seasoning, the result is a portable treat that captures familiar ramen flavours with a satisfying crunch.

Innovative “Melt Soup Method”

At the core of the product is RAMEN CLUB’s proprietary Melt Soup Method, a special production technique inspired by confectionery-making.

The process coats noodles with a soup layer designed to melt at mouth temperature, allowing flavours to bloom as the snack is eaten. Development reportedly took over 1.5 years and more than 100 prototypes to perfect.

This gives the snack an experience closer to tasting ramen broth rather than simply eating seasoned chips or crackers.

Crafted Like a Real Bowl of Ramen

RAMEN CLUB snacks feature house-made noodles produced from blended wheat flours and fried three times at different temperatures for a crisp but light texture.

Each pack also includes real ramen-style toppings such as bamboo shoots, seaweed, corn, and green onions. Many are prepared using vacuum-frying technology to preserve flavour, aroma, colour, and crunch.

Bold Packaging with Tokyo Street Style

Beyond flavour, the brand’s eye-catching packaging is another draw. RAMEN CLUB’s logo was designed by Tokyo-based artist Sneakerwolf, known for his “Kanji-graphy” style that fuses traditional Japanese characters with modern typography.

The colourful packaging combines ramen culture with contemporary Japanese street aesthetics.
