Dyson has unveiled the HushJet Mini Cool Fan, the company’s first portable handheld fan designed to keep users cool wherever they are. Compact, lightweight and versatile, the new fan can be used as a handheld device, worn hands free with a neck dock or placed on a desk, making it suitable for commuting, working, travelling or spending time outdoors.
Weighing just 212g, the HushJet Mini Cool Fan is built for portability while delivering powerful airflow. It features a brushless DC motor that spins at up to 65,000rpm, producing airflow speeds of up to 25 metres per second. Users can choose from five airflow settings, along with a Boost mode that provides an extra burst of cooling when needed. The fan is powered by a rechargeable battery that offers up to six hours of use on a single charge.
The HushJet Mini Cool Fan also reflects Dyson’s engineering philosophy around the significance of the 38mm measurement, a dimension shared with products such as the Dyson Supersonic r hair dryer and the Dyson PencilVac. According to the company, the measurement represents its continued focus on making products smaller, lighter and more powerful without compromising performance.
In addition to airflow performance, Dyson has placed a strong emphasis on acoustics. The HushJet nozzle has been engineered to reduce higher frequency sounds, minimise motor noise and eliminate the high-pitched whirring commonly associated with portable fans. The result is a quieter cooling experience while maintaining strong airflow.
The fan will be available in three colour options. Ink and Cobalt combines deep blue tones inspired by modern city living, Carnelian and Sky pairs a vibrant red with soft blue accents for a fresh appearance, while Stone and Blush features a pearlescent white finish with subtle pink tones inspired by mother of pearl.
Each HushJet Mini Cool Fan comes with a Neck Dock for hands free use, a Charging Stand, a USB C charging cable and a Travel Pouch for easy portability. Dyson will also offer optional accessories, including a Universal Mount that can be attached to items such as prams and a Grip Clip that secures the fan to bag straps or jackets, giving users additional ways to carry or position the device.
The Dyson HushJet Mini Cool Fan will be available in all three colourways, Ink and Cobalt, Stone and Blush, and Carnelian and Sky, from 3 August 2026 on Dyson website and at Dyson stores across Singapore.
