vivo X300 Ultra arrives in Singapore with pro grade ZEISS lenses and cinematic video capabilities

vivo has officially launched the vivo X300 Ultra in Singapore, marking the first international debut of its flagship X Series imaging powerhouse. Positioned as a professional creative device, the smartphone introduces the ZEISS Master Lenses Collection alongside advanced video, colour and performance capabilities aimed at elevating mobile photography and filmmaking.

At the core of the device is the ZEISS Master Lenses Collection, featuring a trio of prime lenses at 85 mm, 35 mm and 14 mm. These are supported by optional telephoto extenders, including a 400 mm equivalent vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra and a 200 mm equivalent version, designed to extend shooting range while maintaining optical precision. Each lens is paired with an ultra sensing sensor, forming a complete imaging system tailored for professional use.

The 85 mm ZEISS Gimbal Grade APO Telephoto Camera is equipped with a 200 MP sensor and supports 60 fps autofocus tracking, allowing users to capture fast moving subjects such as sports and live performances with greater accuracy. It also features gimbal level optical image stabilisation to reduce motion blur during handheld shooting. Meanwhile, the 35 mm ZEISS Documentary Camera uses a large Sony LYTIA 901 sensor to deliver high resolution images with natural perspective and strong low light performance. The 14 mm ZEISS Ultra Wide Angle Camera completes the setup, offering a main camera grade ultra wide lens designed for landscapes and expansive scenes.

vivo also introduces its latest colour processing system with the X300 Ultra. Powered by a multispectral colour sensing camera with 12 colour channels, the system analyses ambient light at a pixel level to deliver accurate tones and depth. The updated colour science is designed to replicate the look and feel of professional cameras, while offering customisable colour palettes and presets that can be shared easily.

On the video front, the device supports Multi Focal 4K 120 fps 10 bit recording across all rear cameras, including Dolby Vision and Log formats. A new Pro Video Mode provides advanced controls similar to cinema cameras, while compatibility with ACES workflows allows footage to be integrated into professional production pipelines. The phone also features a quad microphone system with multiple audio presets to ensure clear sound capture across different environments.

Photography features have also been enhanced with tools such as Street Photography 3.0, SuperRAW support and improved portrait capabilities powered by vivo’s NICE 3.0 image engine. Landscape Mode 2.0 introduces more manual controls and RAW formats, giving users greater flexibility in post processing. The device also supports high speed burst shooting and autofocus tracking for action photography.

Powering the X300 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with the Pro Imaging Chip VS1+ to deliver smooth performance for intensive creative tasks. A 6600 mAh battery supports 100W fast charging and 40W wireless charging, while a liquid cooling system helps maintain stability during prolonged use. The device also features a 2K ZEISS Master Colour Display with peak brightness of up to 4500 nits for accurate viewing in bright conditions.

The smartphone runs on OriginOS 6, offering cross platform connectivity features, productivity tools and long term software support with up to five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. Additional features include AI powered network optimisation, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, and ultrasonic fingerprint recognition.

In terms of design, the X300 Ultra adopts a camera inspired aesthetic with a metal camera module, textured finish and a 6.82 inch flat display. It is available in Volcano Black with a lightweight glass fibre build, and Steppe Green with a dual tone finish inspired by film photography.

The vivo X300 Ultra will be available in Singapore from 9 May 2026, with pre orders running from 30 April to 8 May via major e commerce platforms and authorised retailers. The device is priced from S$2,499 for the 16GB and 1TB model, while a bundle with the Photographer Kit starts from S$3,299. Pre order customers will receive a pair of vivo Buds Air3, while purchases also come with additional gifts including the vivo WATCH GT 2, alongside warranty coverage and screen care benefits, subject to availability.
