Skechers Expands SkechVibe Across Asia Pacific with New drawingmary Collaboration

Skechers is taking its creative SkechVibe initiative to new heights with the launch of its first Asia-Pacific regional collaboration, teaming up with renowned South Korean illustrator Lee Min Kyung, better known as drawingmary.

The new SkechVibe x drawingmary collection marks the next evolution of the SkechVibe platform, which debuted last year to celebrate Southeast Asian artists through wearable art apparel. This latest chapter sees the concept expand across the Asia Pacific region with a simultaneous multi-market release.

Art, Comfort and Everyday Expression

Known for her emotionally warm and character-driven illustrations, drawingmary brings her signature “healing art” style to a curated lineup of apparel and accessories. The collaboration blends her gentle storytelling aesthetic with Skechers’ comfort-first philosophy, resulting in pieces designed to inspire ease, familiarity, and self-expression.

At the heart of the collection is the Unisex Knit Short Sleeve Tee, featuring six exclusive designs inspired by cities across Asia Pacific.

The artwork follows drawingmary’s beloved recurring characters, Mary and her dog Day, as they journey through the region. Each city-themed design incorporates floral motifs and local cultural icons that celebrate shared memories and everyday beauty.

Featured regional inspirations include:

  • Hong Kong – Hong Kong Orchid Tree
  • Malaysia – Hibiscus
  • Singapore – Orchid
  • South Korea – Cherry Blossoms
  • Thailand – Ratchaphruek (Golden Shower Tree)
  • Vietnam – Lotus and traditional conical hat (nón lá)

Accessories Complete the Collection

Beyond apparel, the collaboration also includes a Unisex Tote Bag available in two colourways, featuring a unified garden-inspired concept drawn from the regional floral themes.

Fans can also pick up a range of Skechers Cali Bits, playful accessories adorned with drawingmary’s signature artwork.
