[Review] Celebox Brings Disney Magic to Baby Full Month Celebrations

Full month celebrations in Singapore are always special, but Celebox‘s newest Celebrating with Mickey and Friends Baby Full Month Box takes it to another level. From the moment I opened it, I felt a mix of nostalgia and delight. It is playful, thoughtful, and perfectly captures the joy of welcoming a little one into the world.

Mickey and Friends are such beloved characters across generations. I loved how Celebox has linked them to a baby’s first month. I could imagine parents seeing their little one’s eyes light up and feeling the same joy I did. The pop-up keepsake box is an absolute work of art. Watching it unfold felt like a tiny moment of magic and I could picture little kids being completely captivated by it.

Inside, the treats are generous and carefully handcrafted. Each cake is a full-sized pound cake, soft, moist, and perfect for sharing or capturing cute photos. The almond butter flavour is rich and nutty with a smooth, buttery finish, while the marble chocolate is a playful swirl of chocolate and vanilla.

On top, I loved the little fondant letters announcing if it’s a boy or girl, which adds such a fun and personal touch. Everything is low in sugar, additive-free, and made with love, making it a thoughtful and healthier option for parents.

Every item inside was thematic too. The Mickey and Minnie cupcakes were super pretty with their little ears on top. The size was just right, small enough for little children to hold and take a bite without finishing a whole cupcake, and not too jelak for parents either.

The chocolates shaped like Mickey and Minnie were smooth and creamy with a rich chocolate flavour, and I liked that they did not melt too easily, making them perfect for little hands or for sharing.

I also noticed the two red eggs tucked in there. In full month celebrations, red eggs symbolise new life, harmony, and good fortune, making it a meaningful inclusion that links modern design back to culture.

I also loved the mini sized ang ku kuehs in the box. In Chinese tradition, ang ku kueh symbolises longevity, good fortune and prosperity, which makes it such a meaningful treat to include for a baby’s first month celebration. The soft, chewy skin around the sweet filling brought a warm sense of tradition to the box, and it felt nice to see something familiar from heritage alongside the modern Disney theme.

At the introductory rate of only .90, it feels like a small investment for a memory that lasts.
