Golden Village Opens GV Century Square, its 18th Cinema, Expanding Beyond the Traditional Movie Experience

Golden Village (GV) is set to open its 18th cinema location, GV Century Square, on 10 February 2026, ushering in a new chapter for Singapore’s homegrown cinema exhibitor. More than just another multiplex, the new outlet signals GV’s continued evolution of the movie-going experience.

Located in Century Square, Tampines, GV Century Square is designed as a curated, boutique-style destination for film lovers. While it remains part of GV’s wider cinema circuit, the new space will offer a thoughtfully selected mix of mainstream blockbusters, alternative titles, and special event screenings. The aim is to create a more diverse and immersive entertainment experience for audiences in the East.

The new cinema also complements the nearby GV Tampines Mall by expanding overall capacity and programming variety in the area. Together, the two locations will provide moviegoers with a broader mix of films and cinematic experiences to choose from.
