Johnnie Walker partners haute couturier Robert Wun on limited-edition Blue Label design for the Year of the Horse

Johnnie Walker is ushering in the Lunar New Year with a striking new limited-edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label, created in collaboration with Hong Kong-born, London-based haute couturier Robert Wun. Designed specially for the Year of the Horse, the partnership brings together the worlds of fine whisky and high fashion, celebrating craftsmanship, creativity and modern luxury.

The collaboration reflects Johnnie Walker’s ongoing commitment to working with visionary cultural voices who challenge conventions and redefine contemporary luxury. One of the fashion industry’s most influential figures, Robert Wun has been recognised by Vogue Business 100, Business of Fashion 500 2025 and Tatler Asia, and made history as the first designer from Hong Kong to be featured on Paris’ prestigious Haute Couture Calendar.

Known for his bold silhouettes, sculptural forms and avant-garde approach, Wun draws inspiration from the Horse’s symbolism of strength, freedom and optimism. His design captures the spirit of constant motion and the courage to move forward, qualities that echo both the Lunar New Year and Johnnie Walker’s own ethos of progress.

Reimagining Lunar New Year through a modern lens, the limited-edition bottle reflects the layered complexity of Johnnie Walker Blue Label while paying tribute to artistry and the pioneering craft of rare whisky-making. The collaboration is designed to resonate with long-time Blue Label collectors as well as a new generation of luxury consumers drawn to contemporary cultural expression.

To mark the festive season, the partnership will also unveil exclusive content offering an intimate glimpse into Robert Wun’s creative journey and his imaginative vision for the Year of the Horse.

Inside the bottle is the iconic Johnnie Walker Blue Label, crafted from some of the rarest whiskies in the brand’s reserves, only one in 10,000 casks is deemed worthy. Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of iced water, it reveals layers of rich spice, vanilla, honey, caramel, hazelnut and dark chocolate, finishing with a luxuriously long, smoky note that suits the spirit of renewal Lunar New Year represents.

Released ahead of Lunar New Year, one of Singapore’s most significant festive seasons, the Robert Wun–designed limited edition will be available at Ashers Singapore, Paneco, Jarbarla and other major specialist and e-commerce retailers. Priced at a recommended retail selling price of SGD 288, the exclusive release offers collectors, luxury enthusiasts and discerning gift-givers a rare and meaningful expression to celebrate the Year of the Horse in February 2026.
