MENSHO X Launches Second Singapore Outlet at Resorts World Sentosa With Exclusive New Tantan Mochimen Creations

MENSHO X is expanding once again. After a successful debut at Raffles Place in July, the cult-favourite fast-casual ramen brand is set to open its second Singapore outlet at WEAVE Mall (#02-206), Resorts World Sentosa, on 1 November 2025. This new location comes with a menu upgrade, spotlighting Chef Tomoharu Shono’s latest innovation: Tantan Mochimen.

A Bigger Space With Resort-Style Comfort

Set in one of Singapore’s most iconic tourist destinations, the new outlet spans 1,034 sq ft and features 36 indoor seats plus an al fresco area for 12. Warm lighting, wooden accents, and earthy tones create a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere, perfect for both tourists and locals seeking a hearty Japanese meal in between activities at Sentosa.

Exclusive to RWS: Tantan Mochimen

The Resorts World Sentosa menu introduces dishes you won’t find at the Raffles Place outlet starting with the star of the launch:

Wagyu Tantan Mochimen (Dry, $26)

A bold reinvention of tantanmen, this dish features thick, chewy mochimen noodles made from mochi wheat sourced from farms in Iwate and Hokkaido. The noodles are chilled in an ice bath for extra bounce before being coated in a vegan peanut-sesame sauce. Topped with premium Japanese wagyu chashu, bok choy, semi-dried tomato, smoked nuts, red onions, and a touch of Sichuan pepper — it’s rich, aromatic, and incredibly satisfying.

Vegan Tantan Mochimen (Dry, $20)

A flavour-packed plant-based version featuring charred cauliflower, bok choy, semi-dried tomato, smoked nuts, red onions, black sesame, peanut paste, chilli oil, and Sichuan pepper — delivering heat, texture, and umami without compromise.

Other Menu Highlights

Ramen classics return with refined flavours and premium toppings:

• Yuzu Shio Ramen ($23) – A clear double-soup base of bonito, clam, pork, and chicken, topped with sake-kasu pork chashu, yuzu chicken chashu, spinach, yuzu peel, semi-dried tomato, king oyster menma, and shiso cress.
• Organic Shoyu Ramen ($20) – A layered double-soup enhanced with barrel-aged organic shoyu, served with pork and yuzu chicken chashu, spinach, menma, nasturtium, and red onion.
• Signature Toripaitan ($27) – Wavy whole-wheat noodles in a lighter toripaitan broth infused with shiitake, porcini, and kelp, topped with three types of chashu and an ajitama egg.

Fun fact: While MENSHO TOKYO uses a richer toripaitan base, MENSHO X offers a lighter, umami-forward version designed for everyday enjoyment.
