The HSBC Women’s World Championship, scheduled from February 29 to March 3, will unfold at Sentosa Golf Club, setting the stage for a remarkable showdown among some of the finest talents in the golfing world. Boasting a stellar international field comprising players from 20 countries, this 16th edition of the tournament reaffirms its stature as ‘Asia’s Major.’ Notably, 12 of the 15 previous winners of the championship hold Major titles, underlining the event’s significance in the global golfing calendar.

Ruoning Yin, a product of the CGA-HSBC China Junior Golf Program which has nurtured over 124,000 young talents, exemplifies HSBC’s commitment to fostering the growth of golf at the grassroots level. This week, HSBC continues its legacy of empowering emerging stars, with a host of promising Asian players receiving sponsor invites, including 15-year-old Singaporean amateur Chen Xing Tong, who emerged victorious at the recent HSBC Women’s World Championship National Qualifier.

The HSBC Women’s World Championship unfolds as a 72-hole stroke play tournament at the renowned Tanjong Course at Sentosa Golf Club. Renowned for its dedication to sustainability initiatives in golf globally, Sentosa Golf Club proudly holds prestigious accolades such as ‘World’s Best Golf Course,’ ‘Asia’s Best Golf Course,’ and ‘Singapore’s Best Golf Course,’ as recognized at the 2023 World Golf Awards.
