Lomography Launches New Duotone Sprocket Rocket Cameras for Bold Panoramic Film Photography

Lomography is giving analogue photography fans a fresh new way to experiment with panoramic film photography with the launch of two new duotone editions of its popular Sprocket Rocket 35 mm Panoramic Camera. Designed with contrasting colour combinations on each side, the new Strawberry Fusion and Mint Fusion editions bring an extra splash of personality to the brand’s signature sprocket hole photography style.

Originally launched in 2011, the Sprocket Rocket made its mark as the world’s first wide-angle 35 mm camera dedicated to sprocket photography. The camera captures 18 panoramic shots per roll using a dramatic 1:3 panoramic ratio, exposing the entire width of the 35 mm film including the sprocket holes for a distinctly raw and analogue look.

The camera also includes an optional frame insert for photographers who prefer cleaner frames without exposed sprockets. Creative flexibility is further enhanced with special scrolling knobs that allow users to move forwards and backwards through frames to experiment with overlapping compositions and unconventional image layouts.

Compact and lightweight, the Sprocket Rocket is designed for travel and everyday shooting, while also catering to more experimental photography styles. Features such as multiple exposures, long exposure capabilities, a hot-shoe flash mount and tripod compatibility make it suitable for everything from spontaneous street photography to studio experimentation. Since it operates entirely mechanically, the camera requires no batteries, making it a fuss free companion for analogue enthusiasts on the move.

The Sprocket Rocket comes equipped with a 30 mm focal length lens, aperture settings of f/10.8 and f/16, shutter speeds of 1/100 second and Bulb mode, and supports multiple exposures. Each roll produces 18 panoramic images, with the option to include or conceal sprocket holes depending on the photographer’s preferred style.

Available now in limited quantities through the Lomography Online Shop and selected retailers, the cameras retail at USD49 or SGD55.
