MUJI VivoCity will welcome shoppers back on 17 July 2026 with a refreshed store layout designed to make browsing more intuitive while expanding several key product categories. The renovation introduces larger Women’s and Men’s apparel sections, additional fitting rooms and a reorganised store layout that makes it easier for customers to discover Health and Beauty products, travel essentials and household favourites.

Since opening in 2014, MUJI VivoCity has been one of MUJI Singapore’s long-standing outlets, serving both local shoppers and international visitors. The refreshed layout aims to create a smoother shopping experience while continuing to offer the thoughtfully designed everyday products that the brand is known for.
One of the biggest changes is the expansion of the apparel section. Customers will now find larger dedicated areas for Women’s and Men’s clothing, making it easier to browse and compare wardrobe essentials ranging from socks and innerwear to tops, bottoms and outerwear. The store has also increased the number of fitting rooms to reduce waiting times and provide a more comfortable try on experience.
Beyond fashion, the Health and Beauty and travel sections have been relocated closer together, allowing shoppers to browse related categories more conveniently. Household products have also been reorganised around popular customer favourites and daily essentials, creating a more accessible and efficient store layout.
Coinciding with the reopening is the introduction of MUJI’s new Essential Oil Aroma Haircare series. Made with 100 percent naturally derived ingredients, the shampoo and conditioner gently cleanse and moisturise both hair and scalp while offering calming scents in Japanese Cypress and Lavender, as well as Ylang Ylang and Orange. Customers can also explore MUJI’s Sensitive Skin and Fermented Rice Bran skincare collections, with additional skincare products expected to arrive in the coming month.
The expanded apparel range also highlights garments designed for everyday living in Singapore’s climate. Customers can browse clothing featuring practical functions such as UV protection, quick drying performance, breathable fabrics and cool touch materials. Selected apparel items will also be available at special reopening prices.
To celebrate the reopening, MUJI VivoCity will host a traditional lion dance performance before officially opening its doors at 11am on Friday, 17 July. From 17 to 19 July 2026, shoppers can enjoy a range of exclusive promotions and rewards, including a limited edition MUJI VivoCity Cotton My Bag with qualifying purchases, a social media voucher giveaway with limited daily vouchers, an exclusive MUJI Passport Mini Bag giveaway, triple MUJI Miles for MUJI Passport members and special reopening offers across apparel, household products, lifestyle items and food.
The reopening of MUJI VivoCity is part of MUJI Singapore’s ongoing efforts to enhance its retail spaces. Similar improvements will be progressively introduced at selected stores, including JEM and Tampines, as the retailer continues to create shopping environments that are easier to navigate and better suited to customers’ everyday needs.
