VivoCity Turns Into a Toy Story Wonderland This June With Massive Disney and Pixar Celebration Inspired by Toy Story 5

VivoCity is set to transform into a larger than life Toy Story inspired playground this June as it rolls out a mall wide celebration themed around Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story, ahead of the release of Toy Story 5 in cinemas on 18 June. From 29 May to 28 June 2026, shoppers of all ages can look forward to immersive installations, carnival games, themed retail pop ups, and a host of family friendly rewards designed to bring the magic of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and friends to life.

At the heart of the celebration is the Outdoor Plaza, which will be fully reimagined into a Toy Story inspired “toy box” experience. The space will feature two main zones, one focused on exploration and photo opportunities, and another designed as a high energy carnival filled with games and interactive attractions. The Toy Box Adventures Zone will recreate familiar bedroom settings from Bonnie’s world on an oversized scale, allowing visitors to experience what it feels like to be a toy. The zone will be open daily from 10am to 10pm and is designed for families and fans looking for photo worthy moments and immersive storytelling.

Next to it, the Toy Story themed Carnival Zone will bring a lively fairground atmosphere with game booths, challenges inspired by iconic characters and Pizza Planet themed stations. Visitors can also enjoy rides such as a Mini Express Train and Pedal Karts, alongside prize grabber machines. Across the mall, shoppers will also find picture perfect installations inspired by Toy Story characters, offering multiple photo spots for families and friends. The experience extends to themed photo booths priced at $8 per session, where visitors can print personalised photos using eight different themed frames. These installations will be available daily from 10am to 10pm at various locations throughout VivoCity.

Adding a layer of interactive fun, a Toy Story Stamp Quest will invite shoppers to collect stamps from four stations around the mall. Those who complete the stamp card can redeem a complimentary sticker set at the carnival zone, limited to the first 100 shoppers per day.

A Toy Story themed retail pop up at East Court, Level 1 near CHAGEE will feature exclusive collectibles, character merchandise and themed keepsakes, allowing fans to bring home a piece of the experience. Beyond the pop up, several participating retailers are also joining the celebration. ActionCity will offer collectible figurines, Cotton On Kids will launch themed apparel, MINISO will carry a wide range of merchandise including plush toys and accessories, while MONTIGO will feature themed drinkware and charms. Toys”R”Us will showcase Toy Story 5 inspired toys, Uniqlo will release Toy Story UT graphic T shirts, and Luckin Coffee will introduce limited edition themed drinks along with exclusive merchandise and sticker sets.

To further reward shoppers, VivoCity is rolling out a series of promotions throughout the campaign. Visitors who spend a minimum of $250 across up to two same day receipts can redeem a Toy Story themed thermal lunch box and carrier, limited to selected daily quotas. VivoCity Kids Club members spending at least $150 in a single receipt at participating stores can redeem a pair of Toy Story 5 movie tickets, while new Kids Club members can enjoy a complimentary weekday Pedal Kart ride. New VivoRewards members who spend a minimum of $120 will also receive a $5 eVoucher as part of the sign-up benefits.

As part of VivoCity’s 20th anniversary celebrations, the mall will also bring back its VC20 Flash 20 Deals on the 20th of every month via the VivoRewards app, offering limited time discounts and free to download rewards.
