Yeo’s adds new Unsweetened Oolong Tea to expanding no sugar range, launches tasting experience at SG HeritageFest

Yeo Hiap Seng, commonly known as Yeo Hiap Seng, has introduced a new Yeo’s Oolong Tea as part of its growing unsweetened tea lineup, responding to increasing demand for healthier, no sugar beverage options in Singapore.

The new drink joins the brand’s existing First Harvest Green Tea with No Sugar, with both products carrying Nutri Grade A ratings and the Healthier Choice Symbol. Together, the range is positioned as part of Yeo’s effort to give consumers more everyday beverage options that are naturally balanced and free from added sugar.

According to the company, the expansion taps into long standing tea drinking habits, where tea continues to play a versatile role as a mealtime drink, an afternoon refreshment, or a hydrating alternative to sugary beverages. While green tea has been widely adopted as a health focused choice, oolong tea offers a different profile, created through a semi oxidation process that gives it a distinct taste and aroma. Both teas originate from the same leaf, with flavour differences shaped by processing methods after harvest.

To highlight this, Yeo’s is rolling out a digital first campaign that gamifies the tea making process, allowing consumers to explore how a single tea leaf can be transformed into different varieties. The experience is designed to make the journey from leaf to bottle more interactive and accessible.

The campaign will also extend offline at Singapore HeritageFest 2026, where Yeo’s will be participating at the HOMEGROUND Festival Village at the Asian Civilisations Museum Green from 1 to 24 May. Visitors can sample both the First Harvest Green Tea and the new Oolong Tea every Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 10pm. The booth will also feature interactive elements showcasing the heritage and craft behind Asian tea culture.

For those unable to attend in person, the digital experience is available at yeosteajourney.com, where participants can also redeem a promotional discount code via TikTok Shop at @yeossg.
