The Great Green Run 2026 Returns With a Bigger Mission: Fitness, Sustainability & Community Action

The Great Green Run 2026 presented by CIMB Singapore (GGR26) is gearing up for its third and most impactful edition yet, uniting runners, eco-warriors, and community groups in a shared mission toward a greener future. Returning as one of the region’s most sustainability-driven sporting events, GGR26 continues to champion environmental responsibility while promoting fitness, inclusivity, and meaningful community engagement.

Jointly organised by Modellscape and Tri-FACTOR, the event goes beyond the traditional race experience by inspiring positive lifestyle choices, spreading environmental awareness, and encouraging the adoption of long-term sustainable habits.

Aligned With Singapore’s National Sustainability Vision

This year, GGR26 becomes a proud partner of Singapore’s Go Green 2026 initiative, further strengthening its commitment to nationwide sustainability efforts. The run also supports key pillars of the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasising the power of sport in driving climate action.

New for 2026: Plantable Medals & “The Hive” Experience

In line with its green mission, the Great Green Run is introducing a significant eco-friendly innovation: plantable finisher medals. Designed to minimise waste, these medals contain embedded seeds, allowing runners to grow plants long after crossing the finish line, a symbolic pledge to continue nurturing the environment.

GGR26 is also debuting “The Hive,” an interactive game inspired by the run’s bee mascot. This immersive activity teaches participants about biodiversity, pollinators, and conservation through play, making environmental education accessible and memorable for all ages.

Strengthening Partnerships for Climate Impact

Long-standing title sponsor CIMB Singapore returns for the third consecutive year, reinforcing its commitment to advancing environmental and social progress. The bank’s continued support highlights the vital role of corporate-community collaboration in driving sustainable change.

In addition, the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) has launched a new initiative in conjunction with the run. Up to 50 SMEs will receive complimentary carbon footprint reports, helping smaller businesses take their first meaningful steps toward sustainability.

The Green Bazaar: A Two-Day Eco Retail Festival

Beyond the race, participants can explore the lively Green Bazaar on 13 and 14 June 2026. Featuring more than 60 eco-conscious stalls, the market will offer pre-loved fashion, sustainable lifestyle products, handcrafted items, and green F&B options, all curated to promote mindful consumption.
