Pasta lovers in Singapore can now elevate their home-cooking game with the arrival of Barilla’s new premium range, Al Bronzo, crafted for those who believe every drop of sauce counts.
Unveiled in Singapore this week, the Al Bronzo series is designed with a single mission: maximum flavour in every bite. The pasta is made using Lavorazione Grezza, Barilla’s patented traditional bronze-extrusion process that creates micro-engravings, deep ridges, and precise geometry. The result is a distinctly rough, porous texture that helps sauces cling effortlessly, whether you’re tossing lighter emulsions, oil-based favourites, or classic red and white sauces.
Beyond texture, Barilla also focuses on quality from the grain up. Each Al Bronzo shape is made from carefully selected durum wheat milled into high-quality semolina containing over 14% protein. This ensures a firm, elastic bite and a consistently satisfying al dente finish, paired with a naturally vibrant amber hue that enhances any plated dish.
The Al Bronzo collection arrives in four beloved shapes, Spaghetti, Linguine, Penne Rigate, and Fusilli, each crafted with its own calibrated thickness and contours to suit different sauces and preparations.
The range also gets a visual overhaul with a new premium deep-red packaging, featuring a transparent window that highlights the pasta’s textured surface. Swapping traditional boxes for a refined, flexible bag, the packaging aims to deliver an elevated tactile and aesthetic experience.
Barilla Al Bronzo is now on shelves at FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra, and selected FairPrice outlets across the island.
To celebrate the launch, the pasta will be available at a promotional price of $3.65 per pack (U.P. $4.25), while stocks last. T&Cs apply.
