UNIQLO is giving Singaporeans a cool new way to beat the heat. From April 10 to 19, the global apparel retailer is unveiling its first-ever AIRism Cooling Station Pop-up, an immersive showcase designed to demonstrate how its AIRism technology helps wearers stay cool, dry, and comfortable, no matter how hot or humid the day gets.
Located at the Orchard Central Level 1 Atrium, the pop-up invites visitors to experience AIRism’s “comfort conditioning” technology firsthand. The initiative highlights UNIQLO’s Innerwear lineup, featuring breathable, quick-dry, moisture-wicking, and anti-odour fabrics developed in partnership with Toray Industries.
The AIRism Cooling Station opens with an instant cool-down space lined with AIRism Cool Curtains, creating an immersive, refreshing environment that showcases the fabric’s signature smoothness and cooling sensation. The setup also doubles as a photo-worthy backdrop for visitors.
Inside, guests can explore the full range of AIRism apparel, from Innerwear and Bra Tops to Underwear, and discover how layering with AIRism can help navigate everyday discomfort brought on by Singapore’s heat, sweaty commutes, and humid afternoons.
To demystify what makes AIRism work, the pop-up includes two interactive test stations where visitors can feel the fabric’s performance for themselves. These mini-experiments highlight AIRism’s key features, including:
Each activity helps reveal why AIRism remains a go-to solution for staying comfortable in Singapore’s climate.
Visitors won’t leave empty-handed, UNIQLO is offering limited-time perks exclusively at the pop-up:
Beyond the event, customers who purchase the Super Non-Iron Long Sleeve Shirt at any UNIQLO store can redeem a free AIRism Anti-Odour Mesh Tank Top from Apr 10–23.
