[Review] Is The NEW Ecovacs Deebot T90 Pro Omni The Best Mid Tier Robot Vacuum This Year?

Robot vacuum technology is advancing at breakneck speed, with roller mops and hot water washing docks quickly becoming the new standard. Entering this highly competitive space is the new Ecovacs Deebot T90 Pro Omni.

Debuting at the Singapore IT Show 2026 alongside the ultra compact Deebot mini 2, this flagship cleaner is launched in conjunction with the Ecovacs Created For Ease campaign. It promises a premium floor cleaning experience wrapped in a minimalist Nordic inspired design that fits beautifully into any contemporary apartment.

A key feature of its cleaning prowess is the new Ozmo Roller 3.0 system.

Moving away from traditional spinning pads, this model features an elongated 27 centimetre roller that applies constant downward pressure while spinning at up to 200 revolutions per minute. Paired with 30,000 Pascals of suction power driven by the Boosted Large Airflow Suction Technology, the robot lifts fine dust and sticky spills rather than just pushing them around.

During our tests, it easily tackled both hard floors and carpets.

Another key feature is the ZeroTangle 4.0 system. Hair entanglement is a notorious issue for most vacuums, but the aerodynamic design here funnels hair straight into the dustbin. This ensures the roller remains completely hair free, sparing users from the dreaded manual detangling chore.

To address corners and edges, Ecovacs implemented the TruEdge 3.0 technology.

The roller extends outward to glide snugly against baseboards and furniture legs, ensuring a thorough clean along the perimeter of the room.

Despite all this mechanical power, the machine operates incredibly quietly. The all dimensional noise reduction design muffles the motor so well that you might occasionally wonder which room the robot is currently cleaning. This has come a long way since the robot vacuum first started popping up in residential homes as it goes about nosily with its chores.

Navigation is handled by the Aivi 3D 4.0 dual engine perception system. It maps out rooms efficiently and actively avoids loose cables and the likes of pet zones.

The new TruePass climbing system is another key feature, using auxiliary levering wheels to cross thresholds and step downs up to 4 centimetres high, making lowered bathroom entrances a breeze. The latter is a common issue in the regular Singaporean homes.

However, no robot is entirely flawless. While it excels in open spaces, it tends to be overly cautious in heavily cluttered areas, avoiding them altogether instead of pushing through. It also struggles slightly with thin toilet rugs, which can get caught in the rollers. Removing thin mats before a cleaning run is highly recommended, generally no difference than most other robot vacuum models.

Efficiency is where this device outshines the competition.

The PowerBoost fast charging technology allows the robot to recover about ten percent of its battery in just three minutes while it washes its mop at the dock. This enables a perpetual cleaning cycle, allowing it to finish the size of a standard four room flat in under an hour with only one quick pit stop.

Back at the Omni Station, the mop is blasted with 75 degrees Celsius hot water through high pressure nozzles, while a squeegee system scrapes away the grime. The dock does an excellent job keeping the roller fresh and streak free. The only trade off is water consumption. The 4 litre clean water tank depletes in about two to three days if you mop daily.

Controlling the device is supposedly made simple with Agent Yiko, an intelligent voice assistant that learns your habits and tailors cleaning plans automatically. You can tell it to use more water in the kitchen or skip the bedroom at night, and it will remember those preferences for future runs.

Launch Promotional Rate

Priced at a promotional rate of S9 down from the usual S9, the Ecovacs Deebot T90 Pro Omni offers tremendous value. Purchases made through Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, FairPrice Online, or the official webstore even include a free Tineco iCarpet Spot Cleaner while stocks last.

For a mid-tier robot vacuum, the Ecovacs Deebot T90 Pro Omni may just be the best this year for now, till some next new model comes along to challenge its crown.
