A fresh season is in full bloom at City Square Mall this March, as the mall rolls out a vibrant lineup of sustainability-driven and heritage-inspired activities. Running until 12 April 2026, the campaign invites shoppers to explore eco-conscious installations, nostalgic attractions, and floral-themed experiences across the mall.
A key highlight of the celebration is a retro carnival by Uncle Ringo, paying tribute to the site’s past as the former New World Amusement Park.
Visitors can enjoy classic rides such as a carousel, teacups, and a choo choo train at City Green park (Level 1), while bumper cars and game booths are set up at Basement 1 Green Square until 27 March. The carnival adds a lively, family-friendly atmosphere while celebrating the mall’s historical roots as a hub for entertainment.
In collaboration with Hidden Heritage Singapore, City Square Mall is also offering a unique walking trail that uncovers the history of the New World Amusement Park and its surrounding district.
Running until 10 May 2026, the guided experience allows participants to rediscover cultural landmarks and stories from the past, connecting the area’s rich heritage to its present-day identity. The tour is eligible for redemption through the SG Culture Pass, making it more accessible to the public.
Continuing its eco-conscious efforts, the mall introduces “Blooming from Waste,” a floral-themed installation created using 400 recycled milk bottles collected earlier this year. The installation has earned recognition in the Singapore Book of Records as the largest art display of recycled milk bottles.
Visitors can also take part in hands-on eco workshops, including terrarium-making sessions featuring a New World Gate ornament. Special appearances by Eco Mama on selected dates in March add an educational and interactive element to the experience.
Shoppers who meet minimum spending requirements can redeem a floral thermal flask along with workshop access, encouraging participation in sustainable practices.
In line with the seasonal theme, participating tenants are offering a range of floral-inspired deals. These include discounted nail art services at Concept Nailz Spa and henna designs at Vanessa Beauty & Henna Artwork Creations, among other promotions across the mall.
As part of its sustainability commitment, City Square Mall will mark Earth Hour on 28 March 2026 with a special outdoor screening of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World at Basement 1 Green Square.
Families can redeem passes to enjoy the film together, while the mall switches off non-essential lights from 8:30pm to 9:30pm in support of the global movement.
Enhancing the shopping experience is CityNexus, which offers rewards, exclusive deals, and loyalty points across participating stores. Shoppers can enjoy perks such as triple reward points, vouchers, and gifts with minimum spend during the campaign.
Visitors can also explore a refreshed dining lineup, including Korean fare at Hankang Pocha, Western favourites at Astons Steak & Salad, and Sichuan cuisine at Xiao Jiao Tian.
