Tucked within the city, Noa by Olivia presents a refined take on Mediterranean cuisine through a menu that draws inspiration from across the region. Influences from Spain, Italy, Greece and the Levant come together in a collection of dishes that balance bold flavours with careful technique, resulting in a menu that feels both vibrant and cohesive.
The experience begins the moment guests step into Noa. The lounge styled interior leans into warm Mediterranean influences, with deep tones, plush seating and softly lit corners that create a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere.
The menu opens with a series of starters designed to ease diners into the Mediterranean flavour profile. The hummus salad features house made hummus paired with grapes, cucumber and cherry tomatoes, bringing together creamy textures with bursts of freshness. Served alongside is warm pita bread, lightly toasted and seasoned with a Mediterranean spice blend that adds a subtle aromatic touch while remaining light and crisp.
One of the more memorable starters is the Noa Bomba, a reinterpretation of the classic Barcelona tapa. The croquette is coated in squid ink breadcrumbs and filled with smoked potato dough and spiced minced beef. Once fried, the exterior turns beautifully crisp while the interior remains soft and savoury. Paired with house made brava sauce and garlic aioli, it delivers both richness and a hint of smokiness.
The falafel offers a well executed take on a Mediterranean staple. Made with chickpeas and fresh herbs, it arrives with a crisp exterior and a tender centre. The accompanying za’atar yoghurt and tahini add tanginess and creaminess, balancing the earthy flavours of the falafel.
Among the small plates, the tuna loin ajo blanco stands out for its light yet refined taste. Thick slices of tuna are served over chilled ajo blanco, a creamy garlic and cashew base inspired by a traditional southern Spanish cold soup. The addition of grapes and basil oil introduces subtle sweetness and aromatic freshness, giving the dish a gentle balance of richness.
The menu moves into heartier territory with mains that highlight Mediterranean comfort cooking. The beef kebab draws inspiration from Middle Eastern flavours, featuring house made spiced minced beef that is juicy and aromatic. Served with yoghurt aioli and tahini mustard, the dish offers a satisfying combination of savoury depth and creamy richness.
Seafood lovers may gravitate towards the roasted black cod. Marinated in miso before roasting, the fish develops a lightly caramelised exterior while remaining tender and buttery within. It is paired with herbaceous green mojo picón and served alongside artichoke purée, zucchini and leek.
A highlight of the meal is the Argentinian prawn rice, rooted in Spanish rice traditions. Bomba rice is cooked in a deeply flavoured seafood stock made from lobster and rockfish, allowing the grains to absorb layers of savoury flavour. A sweet Argentinian prawn sit on top, adding both texture and natural sweetness to the dish.
The presa Ibérica offers a satisfying finale to the savoury courses. This premium cut of Iberian pork is cooked until crisp on the outside while remaining tender and juicy inside. Served with spiced carrot purée and finished with baby carrots and almonds, the dish brings together richness, subtle sweetness and texture.
Dessert rounds off the meal with two indulgent options. The tiramisu layers mascarpone cream with coffee soaked ladyfingers before a final dusting of cocoa. The result is light yet decadent.
The meal concludes with Olivia’s creamy homemade cheesecake, a signature dessert known for its distinctive balance of sweet and savoury flavours. Made with cream cheese and blue cheese on an almond sablé crust, the cheesecake is smooth, rich and memorable.
