New Balance Expands Running Portfolio with the Launch of the Ellipse in Singapore

New Balance is introducing a fresh addition to its running lineup with the launch of the Ellipse in Singapore, marking the brand’s latest evolution in performance footwear. Designed for runners of all levels, from beginners taking their first strides to experienced athletes clocking easy recovery miles, the Ellipse aims to make every run feel effortless and enjoyable.

At the heart of the Ellipse is the brand’s trusted Fresh Foam X cushioning, now reimagined to deliver a bouncier, more responsive underfoot feel. The result is a shoe built for comfort during daily runs, offering soft support while maintaining a lightweight ride.

In an era where running is often defined by metrics, pace tracking, and performance data, New Balance is taking a different approach. The Ellipse is crafted around the philosophy of helping runners “lose track of time,” encouraging them to rediscover the joy, mindfulness, and creativity that come with simply being present on a run. Rather than focusing on numbers, the shoe promotes a more personal and restorative running experience.

Beyond its cushioned midsole, the Ellipse enhances comfort with a breathable engineered mesh upper, a cushioned tongue, and stretch laces that create a seamless and supportive fit. The design prioritizes everyday wearability, making it a versatile choice for regular training sessions.

The model has already gained traction among New Balance athletes and cultural figures worldwide, including Olympic gold medalist sprinter Gabby Thomas, middle-distance standout Parker Valby, and personalities such as Action Bronson, Josh Allen, and Francisco Lindor, all of whom have embraced the Ellipse as a go-to running shoe.

Immersive “Lose Track of Time” Pop-Up Experience

To celebrate the official launch, New Balance will host a one-weekend-only Ellipse pop-up experience in Singapore from 7 to 8 March 2026 at Trifecta Riders’ Lounge. The immersive event is designed to bring together the local running community in a space that shifts attention away from pace, metrics, and milestones.

Visitors can test the Ellipse on-site and explore curated touchpoints inspired by the “Lose Track of Time” philosophy, connecting with fellow runners in a relaxed, community-led environment. The pop-up runs from 1:00PM to 10:00PM across both days at Trifecta Riders’ Lounge (10A Exeter Rd, Singapore 239958).

The New Balance Ellipse will be available from 5 March 2026 via the brand’s official website and at selected retailers, retailing at a suggested price of SGD$219.
