Singapore brand Happie has quietly evolved from a specialist in water and air purification into a rising contender in home wellness. Since its founding in 2022, the brand has earned a reputation for clean designs, practical technology, and everyday comfort, with its products now trusted in over 20,000 homes. With the launch of its first massage chairs, Happie signals a bold step into the broader home and living space.
I have always associated Happie with water dispensers and air purifiers. In many Singapore homes, their sleek tankless systems sit neatly in the kitchen. So when I heard they were stepping into massage chairs, I was curious whether it would feel like a natural extension for the brand.
I visited their experiential showroom at Sims Lane to try the chairs for myself. Instead of a typical retail setup, it felt like stepping into a thoughtfully styled living room. The calm, relatively private environment made it easy to experience the products fitting naturally into my own home.

I started with the Cloud model first. On paper, it is the more accessible option, but it did not feel entry level once I sat down. Before the massage began, the chair performed a body scan to map my shoulders and spine.

It also picked up basic health indicators like heart rate and oxygen saturation, then suggested a suitable programme based on my fatigue level.

Cloud uses a 4D plus 3D dual core massage engine, and what I noticed most was the consistency in pressure along my back. The airbags wrapped firmly around my shoulders, waist and legs, creating a secure, almost hugging sensation. The waist and calf heating added depth without making the massage overly intense.
The zero gravity recline was another highlight. Being tilted back with legs elevated reduced pressure on my lower spine, and I found it easier to relax into the rhythm of the rollers.

The foot therapy spa on Cloud deserves a mention. It combines kneading, rolling and gentle stretching. After a long day on my feet, the focused pressure along the soles and calves felt especially satisfying. For Singapore homes where space can be tight, the zero space design that requires minimal clearance from the wall is also a thoughtful touch.
After that, I moved on to Cloud 9. The scanning felt more comprehensive, and the recommended programme seemed even more tailored to how I was feeling that day.

What makes Cloud 9 stand out is how deeply it integrates intelligent detection with the massage experience. It reads fatigue index alongside heart rate and oxygen levels, then adjusts roller speed and rhythm accordingly.
The heated jade rollers were the first thing I noticed once the massage began. The warmth builds gradually and gives a soothing layer to the pressure. My favourite feature, though, was the heated shawl that gently warms the shoulders, chest and abdomen. Most massage chairs focus heavily on the back and legs, but this front body warmth created a cocooned, almost spa-like feeling.

Cloud 9 also pampers with smart auto foot circumferencing, which adjusts around your feet so the airbags and rollers target the right reflexology points, even around the toes. The piano style armrest massager works from upper arms down to fingertips in alternating pressure, which felt surprisingly precise. Together with the 4D plus 3D massage engine and full body airbag coverage, the overall experience felt immersive and layered.
For a limited launch period, Cloud 9 is priced at S$8,888 and Cloud at S$4,888, down from their usual retail prices. Each purchase also comes bundled with a complimentary air purifier, and there is a trade-in programme offering additional rebates.
