Kick off 2026 with an electrifying night of music, lights and immersive experiences as CQ @ Clarke Quay presents “The Next Stage: New Age”, the only New Year’s Eve countdown destination along the Singapore River. Promising a futuristic celebration filled with pulsating beats, glowing visuals and interactive installations, the event sets the stage for an unforgettable start to the new year.
Returning by popular demand, CQ’s spectacular drone show will once again light up the skyline over the Singapore River. Ahead of midnight, revellers can gather at Read Bridge to catch the dazzling aerial display, adding a magical touch to the countdown. Before and after the festivities, visitors can also enjoy the vibrant mix of restaurants, bars and clubs around CQ @ Clarke Quay, each offering their own New Year’s Eve deals and celebrations.
From 30 to 31 December, 12pm till late, CQ @ Clarke Quay transforms into four distinct biomes, each offering a unique sensory experience with neon glow and futuristic design.
The celebrations ramp up from 7pm onwards with an exciting lineup of performances. Zouk resident DJ Gainzter spins pulse-racing beats from 7pm to 9pm, followed by live band Nation One, who will keep the energy high with crowd favourites and popular hits right up to midnight. Hosting the night is Yumiko Kayahara from Kiss92FM, guiding revellers through the countdown.
One of the night’s highlights, CQ’s annual drone show, takes place at Read Bridge over the Singapore River. Featuring a five-act cyberspace journey that unfolds into a single spectacular story, two drone shows are scheduled at 9pm and 11pm on 31 December 2025. The show is subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled if circumstances are beyond the organiser’s control.
As the countdown unfolds, visitors can look forward to exclusive New Year’s Eve promotions across CQ @ Clarke Quay’s bars, clubs and restaurants, including festive drinks and special party packages.
To end the night on a high note, celebrants can enjoy free rides home on the CQ Night Shuttle service, operating specially from 31 December to 1 January 2026. The service includes a loop connecting Orchard Road and City Hall, as well as one-way routes to Tampines MRT and Jurong East MRT, ensuring a safe and hassle-free journey after the celebrations.
