Banyan Group is celebrating a major milestone this year with the opening of the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, its 100th resort globally and first-ever resort in Singapore. Located within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, the new eco-luxury property sets the stage for the inaugural Rainforest Festival, happening from 27 November to 3 December 2025.
The week-long celebration serves as the finale to Banyan Group’s global “100 Journeys” campaign and supports a meaningful cause. All ticket proceeds will be donated and matched dollar-for-dollar by Banyan Group in support of the President’s Challenge, with additional matching grants from the government under SG60.
The Rainforest Festival invites visitors to explore the connection between sustainable architecture, biodiversity, and wellbeing. Central to the festival is the Discovery Trail, a self-guided walk exploring how the resort’s elevated timber structures and design blend harmoniously with the surrounding rainforest.
Along the trail, guests can enjoy:
A highlight of the trail is The Wishing Tree, a participatory art installation where visitors can add messages of hope and gratitude. The festival also features the Banyan Gallery Showcase, displaying handcrafted works by artisans from around the world.
Guests can also enjoy local and sustainably sourced refreshments, including:
