NEXT IN VOGUE 2025 : Highlights from Singapore’s Biggest Fashion Gathering

Vogue Singapore recently wrapped up its NEXT IN VOGUE 2025 and the Fifth Anniversary Gala Dinner at WEAVE, Resorts World Sentosa.

The three-day program from 16 to 18 October seeks to establish itself as Singapore’s most significant fashion gathering. It highlighted the future of fashion, culture, and lifestyle, successfully bringing together over 2,000 attendees, from global industry names to influential regional creatives.

With the ‘Year of the Reset’ as the theme, the NEXT IN VOGUE CONVERSATION hosted 16 panels with 41 speakers.

This included regionally recognised fashion names such as Singapore-born designer Prabal Gurung, Couture designer Robert Wun, and Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The conversations explored fashion’s new direction with a special focus on Asia. Major global fashion brands such as Kering, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Beyond the Vines, and VEJA also joined the panel discussion, demonstrating industry support and vision for Asia’s fashion landscape.

Another showcase to look at during the event was the VOGUE CLOSET exhibition.

It curated 15 looks from Southeast Asian designers like Toton, Behati, Kavitha Thulasidas, Lai Chan, and Rizman Ruzaini, showing how heritage can look totally modern as part of the ‘Asia Reimagined’ theme.

The showcase was complemented by a special presentation of runway pieces by Robert Wun, alongside iconic gowns by Prabal Gurung, which had been worn by global stars Alia Bhatt and Gemma Chan at the Met Gala.

More than just about clothes and pieces, VOGUE GLAM was another addition to the event.

Six masterclasses were conducted by industry experts from brands like Dyson, Givenchy, and Yann Beyrie, where they shared the latest beauty techniques, from seasonal makeup trends to professional hairstyling tips.

The Anniversary Gala was the capstone event, and the night everyone dressed up for.

The theme was ‘Rituals and Radiance: Heritage Reborn, Couture Disrupted.’ Crucially, the event doubled as a critical fundraiser for the Vogue Singapore Foundation, which does such important work supporting emerging talent of fashion.

After a great dinner and performances by homegrown stars like Tabitha Nauser and Yung Raja, the focus shifted to the awards:

  • The Vogue Singapore Talent Prize went to artist Joleen Chew Zhi Ling (in partnership with CHARLES & KEITH).
  • The Vogue Singapore x BMW Innovation Prize was presented to Meng Ji of Arxy Future Lab.

The night finished with a runway show featuring some of the region’s rising couture designers, including Singapore’s Putri Adif.

“We are thrilled to see the support for NEXT IN VOGUE 2025 as it continues to grow and establish itself as a leading platform for Southeast Asian fashion and creatives,” shared Natasha Damodaran, Publisher of Vogue Singapore. “By bringing the world’s leading designers and thought leaders to NEXT IN VOGUE and showcasing them alongside local emerging voices, we are championing a new era of opportunity for our regional creative community.”
