Sarawak Mega Fair 2025 Brings Borneo’s Culture, Flavours, and Crafts to Singapore

Singapore is set to experience the vibrant heart of Borneo as the Sarawak Mega Fair 2025 arrives at Suntec City Atrium (Convention Centre & Tower 1 & 2) from October 16 to 19, 11am to 10pm daily. Organized by the Sarawak Tourism Board, the fair invites visitors on an immersive journey into the region’s lush landscapes, living traditions, and artisanal spirit.

A Cultural Showcase of Heritage and Travel

With over 50 exhibitors, the fair will feature live performances, craft demonstrations, and exclusive travel deals, transforming Suntec City into a gateway to Sarawak. Each booth will offer a slice of the state’s diverse heritage, designed to spark curiosity and inspire deeper appreciation for its cultural richness.

Flavours of Sarawak

Food lovers can indulge in authentic Sibu-style kolo mee by Heng Yoon Trading, made without vinegar for a delicate, fragrant bite, along with its signature sauces. Qsnack will debut its garlic and Sarawak black pepper tempe chips, a crunchy and nutritious first in the Singapore market, with free tastings available. Visitors can also sample Endu Tuak, a traditional Dayak rice wine brewed by Endo, honoring the ancestral craft and cultural rituals of Sarawak’s communities.

Crafts and Creativity

The fair also shines a spotlight on Sarawak’s artisans. Tanoti, a Kuching-based social enterprise supporting over 600 craftspeople, will hold live weaving demonstrations and showcase songket shawls, rattan, and bemban products. Batik Linut Textiles introduces a sustainable twist on batik, using eco-friendly sago flour in place of traditional wax. Meanwhile, Ran & Nong Creations will present handcrafted beaded accessories inspired by Sarawak’s ethnic motifs, with its Miyuki Delica bead necklaces taking center stage.

More Than a Fair

Beyond the sights, tastes, and crafts, the Sarawak Mega Fair 2025 is a celebration of conservation, community, and cultural pride. It serves as a platform for collaboration between tourism partners and a call to explore the wonders of Sarawak firsthand.
