Golden Tickets to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Musical Now on Sale in Singapore

Tickets are now on sale for Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, opening at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands from 19 May 2026. Presented by Base Entertainment Asia with Broadway International Group and Broadway Asia, this marks the musical’s first stop in Southeast Asia for a strictly limited season.

Audiences can book their “golden tickets” via Marina Bay Sands ticketing, SISTIC, and Klook. In true Wonka fashion, premium seat holders stand a chance to discover a special Wonka Golden Surprise Seat with sweet treats hidden beneath selected seats throughout the Singapore run.

A Beloved Story Brought to Life

Based on Roald Dahl’s iconic novel, the production follows young Charlie Bucket’s once-in-a-lifetime adventure inside Willy Wonka’s magical chocolate factory. From chocolate rivers and nut-sorting squirrels to the unforgettable Oompa-Loompas, the show blends dazzling visuals, larger-than-life characters, and show-stopping musical numbers.

Audiences can look forward to classic songs from the 1971 film, including Pure Imagination, The Candy Man, and I’ve Got a Golden Ticket, alongside original music by Grammy and Tony Award winners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Mary Poppins Returns).

A Global Smash Hit

Since its Broadway premiere in 2017, where it ran for over 300 performances, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has delighted audiences worldwide, with a four-year North American tour and an acclaimed run on London’s West End, where it won two Olivier Awards.

The Singapore production features direction by Matt Lenz, choreography by Alison Solomon, and musical supervision by Nate Patten and Greg Jarrett, with a world-class Broadway creative team behind its sets, costumes, lighting, sound, projections, puppetry, and illusions.

Secure Your Golden Ticket

Presented in Singapore by Base Entertainment Asia under the direction of Chantal Prudhomme, this strictly limited season promises wonder, nostalgia, and theatrical magic for audiences of all ages.
