In honour of Singapore’s 60th birthday, Tiong Bahru Bakery (TBB) is rolling out a one-of-a-kind menu that blends French pastry artistry with beloved local flavours. In a first-ever collaboration with heritage hawker centre Lau Pa Sat, the SG60 limited-time menu will be available from 1 to 31 August 2025 at TBB outlets islandwide.
This creative collection is a nostalgic yet innovative tribute to Singapore’s culinary heritage—featuring five unique pastries infused with flavours like satay, sambal, Milo, and teh C. At the heart of the collection is a specially developed Lau Pa Sat satay sauce, inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of Boon Tat Street’s famed Satay Street. TBB’s R&D team worked with Lau Pa Sat to craft a rich, peanut-forward sauce with smoky, aromatic spice notes—used in both sweet and savoury pastries.
Prices range from $5 to $12, available at all TBB outlets and select delivery platforms. Shio Pans are sold exclusively at Centrepoint, Foothills (Fort Canning), Plaza Singapura, Raffles City, and VivoCity.
TBB and sister brand Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR) are also launching the SG60 Sip & Stroll, a fun café trail from 1 August 2025. Guests can pick up a trail map, visit TBB and CMCR locations near iconic landmarks like Fort Siloso and Geylang Serai, and collect stamps at each stop. Completing five unique stops earns you six vouchers (can be redeemed at any TBB and CMCR outlet), plus a free coffee with any spend per visit.
