AIA Singapore Launches Inaugural Ultimate FitnessFest to Inspire Healthier, Active Lifestyles

This August, AIA Singapore is bringing a new energy to fitness with the launch of its first-ever AIA Ultimate FitnessFest (AUFF) — a bold, inclusive celebration of movement, well-being, and community. Backed by leading global fitness race HYROX, the event aims to inspire participants across all fitness levels to “Rethink Healthy” as part of AIA’s regional campaign to redefine health in Asia.

Taking place throughout August 2025, the festival culminates in a high-energy finale on 27 September, featuring two main editions: the University Edition and the Open Edition.

Rethinking What It Means to Be Healthy

As only 44% of Gen Zs in Singapore are currently protected against personal accidents, AUFF also shines a spotlight on the importance of financial fitness. To support young, active individuals, AIA has introduced the AIA #GenFit PA plan — a personal accident insurance plan tailored to the needs and lifestyles of Gen Zs. It offers coverage for medical costs and active pursuits, with special perks via AIA Vitality. Learn more here.

AUFF: University Edition – A Campus Showdown

Exclusively for students from Singapore’s local universities, the AUFF University Edition kicks off with campus qualifiers in August. Teams of four will take on intense fitness challenges, such as rowing and synchronised weighted lunges. The top three teams from each university will battle it out in the finals, where the top two teams win a coveted slot at the AIA HYROX Singapore race this November.

The finals promise an adrenaline-pumping HYROX-style workout featuring:

  • 1,000m run
  • Burpee broad jumps
  • Walking lunges
  • 1,000m row
  • Hand-release push-ups
  • 100 wall balls

In the run-up to the finals, teams can boost their scores by completing bonus activities designed to promote holistic health, such as:

  • Rainforest Amazing Race at Mandai Wildlife Reserve
  • Run with AIA endurance events
  • Social & Charity Challenges to raise awareness and support for AIA Better Lives Fund
  • Fitness First HYROX-inspired sessions to track progress and earn extra points

AUFF: Open Edition – Fitness for All

The AUFF Open Edition is perfect for anyone looking to explore HYROX in a friendly, beginner-friendly format. Open to participants of all ages, this “lite” version of the HYROX challenge promises a fun and inclusive way to embrace fitness.
