Desa Potato Head Introduces Sustainable Swimwear Collection Inspired by Balinese Philosophy

Potato Head has unveiled its latest swimwear collection, a stylish extension of its commitment to sustainable living and cultural celebration. Crafted with care for both men and women, this eco-conscious line captures the spirit of Potato Head’s values—community, culture, and regeneration—woven into designs inspired by Balinese wisdom.

This vibrant collection merges art, music, wellness, and design through exclusive prints that are as bold as they are meaningful. Created with sustainability in mind, the collection uses eco-friendly fabrics, including recycled polyester and EcoVero—a renewable wood-sourced viscose fiber that’s light, breathable, and quick-drying, making it perfect for tropical climates.

Each piece draws inspiration from Balinese Hindu philosophy, featuring elements of Fire, one of nature’s five essential elements, along with Earth, Water, Wind, and Space. The designs also incorporate Rwa Bhineda, a Balinese philosophy symbolizing harmony through contrasts like day and night, light and dark. This concept is beautifully visualized in the collection’s unique yin-yang motif, interwoven with symbols of Earth, Moon, and Sun.

The collection is available at Desa Potato Head in Bali and on Potato Head’s online store, with prices starting at $99 USD (1,552,106 IDR). Fans can also look forward to limited-edition music merchandise and new designs arriving soon.
