Ben & Jerry’s thank you to fans is back with Free Cone Day! Free scoops will be handed out across the world to thank fans for their ongoing love and support. Cones at the ready, it promises to be bigger than ever across the globe and Singapore’s very own Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop at Vivo City on Monday, 3 April 2023.

Get in line to grab a scoop of Ben & Jerry’s classic flavours like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, which Ben & Jerry’s invented over three decades ago, local favourites like Chocolate Therapy, Vanilla as well as Non-Dairy options! You can also try the new and limited-edition flavour, Topped Dirt Cake, which was introduced in December last year.

To celebrate the return of Free Cone Day in Singapore, you can expect a fun-filled time while waiting in line to spread the mood for peace, love and ice cream on this annual occasion. You’ll be able to take part in exciting on-ground activities, testing out your Ben & Jerry’s knowledge and spotting Woody the cow at unexpected places, all while getting the chance to win exciting prizes.

Scoops of Gratitude

It was springtime in Vermont on 5 May 1979 when the two cofounders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield surprised themselves outlasting a long winter in Vermont, with an average temperature below freezing all season. To celebrate their first year in business and thank the local community for their support, the co-founders decided to open the doors and scoop free ice cream. They called it “Free Cone Day” – and an annual celebration was born.

Fast forward over 40 years and the intention hasn’t changed one bit. The company has grown, now in 35 countries. The day is still a thanks. The day is still about fans. Ice creams packed with Fairtrade chunks and swirls will be handed out on 3 April.

Ben & Jerry’s is setting its scooping sights on an all-new, all-time goal to make this Free Cone Day the biggest and best ever with a goal to serve well over a million Fairtrade scoops globally.
