Catch a series of Insta-worthy activations and galactic displays of the “The Mandalorian” at Funan Mall

Funan announces a series of activations happening at the mall in the month of March, to celebrate the premiere of the new season of “The Mandalorian” on Disney+

Set your coordinates to the Civic District and experience three localised and immersive displays that bring popular characters and elements from “The Mandalorian” to life.

Funan’s 100-metre Underground Pedestrian Link (UPL) at Basement 2 is transformed into an immersive zone with visuals and projections inspired by “The Mandalorian” that also features a mural artwork by homegrown street artist Zul Othman (also known as ZERO).

Singapore’s skyline serves as inspiration for the science fiction wheatpaste background of the mural artwork, emblazoned with “This is the Way” in English and the Galactic Basic, the lingua franca of the Star Wars Universe. Look closer, and you will notice that the insignia and colour of The Mandalorian takes its cue from the Singapore flag, or that the pattern behind the warriors point towards the Throne of Mandalore.

Available later this month, you can look forward to as a special video showcase on the 13-metre high Kinetic Wall located at Funan’s entrance facade. Greeting you as you enter the mall, the video will be played every 30 minutes and will feature the Mandalorian and the iconic quote from the series, “This is the Way”.

You can strike a pose at the Action City Visual Pop-up, as they embrace the electric atmosphere inspired by “The Mandalorian”. You can also pick up Star Wars merchandise and enjoy discounts at the store.
