By popular demand, Waa Cow! Yakiniku expands its menu to include a selection of premium wagyu cuts sourced from top local butchers.

From the same good people behind Waa Cow!, known for serving one of the best and most affordable flame-torched wagyu beef bowls in Singapore, the new wagyu menu will be sure to further elevate the distinct Waa Cow! Yakiniku experience with tender and juicy wagyu that promises to be full of flavour with every bite.

Available from December 2022, the new wagyu menu will see the collaboration between Waa Cow! Yakiniku and two local butchers to offer high-quality beef and a range of unique cuts for an extremely delicious grilling experience.

Wagyu With Marble Score 8-9 From Jack’s Creek

Local butcher, Huber’s Butchery, offers a selection of wagyu cuts from the Australian award-winning farm, Jack’s Creek. Having won the prestigious title of ‘World’s Best Steak’ for two consecutive years and 12 Gold medals at this year’s ‘World Steak Challenge’, the farm’s top-breed wagyu cattle is grain fed for a minimum of 400 days to offer the best quality meat.

The delectable Rib Cap – Deckle ($29.90/100g), Inside Skirt ($19.90/100g) and Eye Round ($16.90/100g) cuts will be available at Waa Cow! Yakiniku for a truly unique melt in your mouth experience.

‘Wagyu Olympics’ Winning Cuts From Satsuma Gyu

Famed farm, Satsuma Gyu, that hails from Kagoshima dedicates their resources to produce beef that is unparalleled in texture and flavour. The quality beef from this Japan prefecture is the current winner of the ‘Wagyu Olympics’ held in 2017. The competition is held every five years.

Sourced from Meat Co., a local butchery and meat specialist, Waa Cow! Yakinuku’s Kagoshima A4 Wagyu Tasting Platter ($68.00 for 200g) includes these must-try cuts from Satsuma Gyu:

  • A4 Kainomi (Flap)
  • A4 Karubi (Short Plate)
  • A4 Jo-Karubi (Short Rib)
  • A4 Sasabara (Flank)
  • A4 Harami (Inside Skirt)
  • A4 Nakochi Karubi (Rib Finger)

Mountain Chain Tripe ($25.90/100g)

This prized cut, also known as Mino, requires an intense amount of preparation in order to be left with only the inner, most desired layer. Once removed, the Mountain Chain Tripe offers a unique textured cut that is sweet and delicate in flavour.

Canoe Cut Bone Marrow ($16.90/pc)

The Canoe Cut Bone Marrow has a rich and sweet flavour with a gelatinous texture. A delicacy all around the world, it is also getting more popular due to its high nutritional content. Grill it and drizzle the marrow over Waa Cow! Yakiniku’s premium Japanese rice to level up your yakiniku experience.

Along with its current selection of beef cuts, such as karubi, oyster blade, striploin and ox tongue, and pork and chicken options that can be enjoyed with Waa Cow! Yakiniku’s assortment of specially-created dips, you will be spoilt for choice.
