Giant, one of Singapore’s leading food retailers, today announced an expansion of its senior citizen discount up to all weekdays, from every Tuesday previously.
From 14 June until 30 July, anyone aged 60 and above will enjoy 3% storewide at Giant outlets islandwide every single weekday.
“Our senior customers have formed the habit of shopping on Tuesdays to enjoy further discounts to their purchases,” said Lee Yik Hun, Marketing Director of Southeast Asia Food, Dairy Farm Group. “This announcement is an additional investment on our end above and beyond the ‘Lower Prices That Last Campaign’, but we want to put our customers first amidst this challenging time, especially for many of the elderly.”
The discount is applicable throughout the store’s opening hours and is part of Giant’s ongoing commitment to ensuring customers can shop safely and with confidence that they will enjoy lower prices that last.
The senior citizen discount expansion is also subject to extension.
