[Review] Limited Edition Kueh Salat Ice-cream from Swensen’s Singapore, available exclusively on GrabFood

To celebrate Hari Raya, Swenson’s collaborated with GrabFood to launch a frosty rendition of Singapore’s favourite Nonya Kueh. The limited edition Kueh Salat ice cream features a blend of creamy coconut, fragrant pandan and all-natural butterfly pea flower.

Kueh Salat ice cream anyone?

You can also choose from 13 toppings, ranging from macadamia nuts to marshmallows to chocolate sauce to build your own sundae:

You can now order this unique flavour (.80, 473ml pint) exclusively on GrabFood. If you would like to combine it with other flavours, Swensen’s is offering a special price of .80 (U.P. .40) for one pint of Kueh Salat and two pints of any other flavour.

We tried it and found the taste to be strikingly similar to that of the nonya kueh which we are accustomed to. The pandan and coconut flavours stand out and will remind you of munching on a piece of pandan cake.

The Kueh Salat ice cream is only available while stocks last, so order it early if you want to try it before it sells out.
