Excellent news for dog lovers! The 16th Annual Puppy Bowl is coming and here’s the adorable lineup!

Super Bowl Sunday is just weeks away and that means only one thing for dog lovers: – the 16th annual Puppy Bowl.

Millions of people are going to tune in Super Bowl LIV this 2 February (3 PM) as they compete for the Chewy “Lombarky” trophy.  Fans will enjoy their favourite parts of the 2020 Puppy Bowl, including slo-mo replays and nose-to-nose action from the water-bowl and puppy-kiss cams.

96 puppies will represent 25 states and three international locations: Toronto, St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Cartagena, Colombia.

Puppy Bowl XVI will get broadcasted on the Animal Planet at 3 PM. Tune in early at 2 PM (ET) for the starting play broadcast in which you can listen to the commentary from canine Game correspondents Rodt Weiler, James Hounds, and Sheena Inu.

What You Need to Know About the Puppy Bowl

1. This year is the biggest game in Puppy Bowl history! Animal Planet worked with 61 animal shelters, representing more than 25 states, to fill the two team rosters with 96 adoptable puppies.
2. Puppy Bowl XVI will feature five players with special needs, including:
   • Ferris
   • Kismet
   • Great Dane
   • Paprika
   • Chihuahua mixed breed
   • Filbert
   • Rooster
3. The event will feature all-new team colours, like “Bark Blue” and “Tail Mary Tangerine.”
