[Giveaway] Wholesome, Minimally-processed Food Products from Mother Earth are Just What You Need for Healthy Snacks

Ever since I cut my weight from 99kg to 70kg+ about four years ago, I have been more conscious of the food I eat, especially when it comes to processed food products from the supermarket.

I don’t believe in an extreme diet whereby you force yourself to eat salad everyday for three meals a day and cut out all the unhealthy stuff like potato chips and other processed snacks. A little indulgence once in a while is acceptable. Nonetheless, when I pick which snacks to buy, I would opt for minimally-processed food products made from natural ingredients, ideally without harmful additives like refined sugar, artificial flavouring and colouring. Mother Earth is a New Zealand brand that prides itself with these values.

Their range of products include Natural Peanut Butter, Manuka Honey, Baked Oaty Slices and Fruit Sticks. These are all minimally-processed and made from natural ingredients, without additional colouring and flavouring. Their products can be found at Fairprice Finest, Cold Storage and Redmart.

Mother Nature’s Natural Peanut Butter

Natural Peanut Butter is made by simply grinding up top quality high oleic peanuts – peanuts that have more monounsaturated or good fats than standard peanuts.

There is no added sugar, preservatives or emulsifiers across Mother Nature’s natural peanut butter range, which includes five flavours: Smooth, Crunchy, Crunchy No Added Salt, Chia Seed and LSA Blend Peanut Butter.

Mother Nature’s Baked Oaty Slices

Baked Oaty Slices are soft, baked bars that combine natural ingredients such as wholegrain oats sourced only from Australia or New Zealand with real butter. No artificial colours or flavours are added.

These make for great breakfast or snack bars that comes in handy in the office when I am in a rush.

Mother Nature’s Baked Fruit Sticks

Baked Fruit Sticks are made with real fruits, wrapped in soft dough and baked. Similarly, there are no artificial colours or flavours.

Kids will love this. They are sweet, but the flavours come from real fruits.

Mother Nature’s UMF 10+ Manuka Honey

The UMF™ 10+ Manuka Honey are tested and certified to ensure the honey’s purity, quality and Manuka content, reflected in the UMF rating. The higher the rating, the better the quality of Manuka Honey.
