Do you know that this little cafe at Shaw Centre belongs to the Les Amis group of restaurants?
The Canteen serves a mix of run-of-mill, standard Western and Asian fares like burgers and laksa.
Rachel and I both ordered their western fares. I had a beef burger while Rachel had a chicken chop.
Prices were reasonable for a restaurant in Orchard, at around $30+ for two pax. Service was quite good too, with the service staff popping by frequently to check that everything is alright.
However, the food was really too ordinary. Unmemorable and not particularly tasty. Maybe we should have ordered their Asian fares as most of the other diners seem to be having them.
