Remember the 32-year-old primary school teacher, Gwen, who stirred up a lot of controversy over her photos submitted for a micro-bikini competition?
I think it is clear now she is not an ignorant girl who is a victim of unwanted media attention. She sought out attention in the first place and got what she wanted – only that it was not on her terms and probably on a much bigger scale than she had anticipated.
From the HOTstuff interview, here are some information gathered about her:
Name: Gwen Teng
Vital Stats: 32-25-33
MS: What else do you do besides modelling?
GWEN: When I am not working in front of the camera, I can be found sipping a glass of red wine, curling up with a good book or working on my tan lines at the beach, in no particular order of merit.
MS: List one good and one bad quality that you have.
GWEN: I can’t help but to correct people’s grammar or spelling. I think it is a good quality but some people just detest it. *laughs*
MS: What is the most disgusting thing you’ve put in your mouth?
GWEN: A deep-fried spider. It was black and it just looked disgusting. Admittedly, I did not eat the entire spider. I only took one bite of the spider’s leg. *laughs*
MS: What’s the best advice you’ve been given?
GWEN: Be good. If not, be safe.
Isn’t the last reply she gave chilling? Indeed, Gwen, “Be good. If not, be safe”. If you chose to become a teacher, there are certain sacrifices to be made. It’s no use crying foul only when all eyes are on you and things already spiral way out of your control.
