Tennis players in Singapore can now get their rackets professionally restrung without paying a service fee, thanks to Wilson’s new Stringing Across the City initiative, which aims to make tennis more accessible to players of all levels.
Delivered locally by Avid Sports, Wilson’s authorised distributor for Southeast Asia, the initiative offers complimentary professional racket stringing at all five of Wilson’s direct-to-consumer stores in Singapore.
The programme aims to bring professional racket care closer to local communities and encourage more people to take up tennis, return to the sport or play more regularly. Beginners, recreational players and regular competitors can all benefit from the service, which welcomes tennis rackets of any brand.
To use the service, players can bring their tennis rackets to any participating Wilson store and provide their own strings or purchase Wilson strings in-store. The professional stringing service fee will be waived.
