If you’ve been seeing BlackTree (黑树) all over Xiaohongshu, you can finally try it in Singapore. The viral Thai milk tea brand has officially opened its first overseas outlet at 313@somerset, bringing its signature Thai tea creations, eye-catching cheese foam drinks and a Singapore-exclusive collaboration with Shanghai’s viral Matcha Wang to Orchard Road.
The Singapore outlet also marks the debut of BlackTree’s first-ever Asian Tea Lab, a new concept where the brand explores flavours inspired by tea cultures from across Asia, from Thai milk tea and Japanese matcha to premium Chinese teas.
To celebrate the opening, customers who purchase any two drinks from now till 31 July 2026 will receive a complimentary BlackTree tote bag while stocks last. Those who spend $20 and above can also redeem an exclusive BlackTree cup sleeve. From 1 to 31 August 2026, every purchase of the Singapore-exclusive Lily Lamb drink comes with a limited edition Lily Lamb plush while stocks last.
One of the brand’s biggest signatures is the Milky Cat Cheese Milk Thai Tea ($6.90), where classic Thai milk tea is topped with an adorable three-dimensional cheese foam cat. Finished with coconut jelly and chewy water chestnut starch balls, it is easily one of the most photogenic drinks on the menu.
Exclusive to Singapore is the Lily Lamb collaboration with Shanghai’s Matcha Wang, famous for its hand drawn sheep artwork floating on vibrant matcha foam.
The Lily Lamb Special Matcha No.1 ($7.90) combines rich matcha cheese foam with vanilla bean and specialty milk for a creamy and well-balanced drink, while the Lily Lamb Special Matcha No.2 ($7.90) swaps the milk base for fragrant King Jasmine Tea, creating a lighter floral profile with the same charming sheep design. Fans of the viral “Sheep-Killing Plan” trend can even try drinking the entire sheep in a single sip.
Beyond Thai milk tea, BlackTree also offers a wider selection inspired by Asian tea. The Matcha Coconut Water ($5.90) is light and refreshing with naturally sweet coconut water and earthy matcha, while the Matcha Cheese Cloud Jasmine Milk Tea ($6.90) layers premium jasmine milk tea with fragrant matcha and a rich matcha cheese cream. The Matcha Cheese Cloud Pomelo Jasmine Tea ($5.90) brings together floral jasmine tea, citrusy yuzu and the brand’s signature matcha cheese foam for a refreshing finish.
If you prefer tea-forward creations, the Apple Pomelo Special Qilan Oolong Tea ($6.50) blends crisp apple juice, three varieties of pomelo and roasted Qilan oolong for a fruity yet complex cup. The Bamboo Oolong Milk Tea ($5.50) offers fragrant bamboo notes with smooth roasted oolong too.
For those who enjoy a sweet treat, don’t miss BlackTree’s gelato selection ($8.90). The Thai Tea Gelato is the must-try, with a rich, creamy flavour that captures the brand’s signature Thai milk tea in frozen form. If you prefer something lighter, the Ambarella Sorbet offers a refreshing balance of tangy and fruity notes, while the Classic Matcha Gelato delivers a smooth, earthy finish for matcha lovers.
From mid August, BlackTree will also welcome celebrity guest managers Glenn Yong and Tasha Low, giving fans the chance to meet them while enjoying the brand’s signature drinks.
