Co-owner and founder of the extremely popular Baker & Cook artisan bakeries, Dean Brettschneider, has further expanded his culinary empire. Opening a luxuriously equipped culinary studio, Dean Brettschneider intends to share his craft through the Brettschneider’s Baking and Cooking School where everyday people are given a chance to learn from professionals. With a full lineup of exciting courses taught by Dean and some of his friends, students can expect to be professionally taught in a casual and fun environment.




I had the privilege of attending the basic bread baking session and was I in for a treat!


From the beginning of the session all the way till the end, Dean kept us deeply engaged with his multitude of culinary stories. His love and passion for food was evident in the stories he told and the depth of his knowledge transcended beyond just the end product itself. He impressed with his thorough understanding of the ingredients themselves and they were brought to life through Dean’s passion that was both contagious and extremely captivating. It was evident that this was a man who cooked not merely to put food on the table, but he actually lived for these magical moments of creation. It was such a delight to watch him in his zone.
