The Entertainer is not just for mainstream diners. I found five restaurants which are Halal, or get their food from Halal-certified suppliers.
Remember Ponderosa? This is a similar concept. Diners get an extensive salad bar buffet spread with their entrée. Carrying more than 60 items, the salad bar is a meal unto itself. There are fresh greens, ready-mix salads, daily soups, fruits and noodles. (When I was filling my plate I overheard someone say, “This place is better than Swensen’s!”) We tried the steak, the salmon and fish and chips, and the verdict is: Go for the chicken chops. And the salad bar. They even have soft-serve ice-cream for dessert.
