Seafood Paradise has moved to Scotts Square, giving its long-time diners a new spot to enjoy its live seafood and Singapore-style dishes right in the heart of Orchard Road.

The new outlet opened on 20 August 2026, taking over a space at Scotts Square with a 60-seat main dining hall and eight private rooms that can accommodate up to 64 guests.

For those who have been following Seafood Paradise since its earlier days, the move marks a new chapter for the brand. It started out in 2002 as a small 25-seater coffee shop at Defu Lane, before becoming the first restaurant under what would eventually grow into Paradise Group.
We had the chance to try some of Seafood Paradise’s signatures and favourites at the new outlet.
We started with the Steamed Scottish Bamboo Clam with Minced Garlic. The bamboo clam was steamed simply with minced garlic, keeping the dish light while letting the natural sweetness of the seafood come through.

The Poached Tiger Prawn with Chinese Herb in Superior Stock, also known as Drunken Prawn, came next. The prawns are poached in a Chinese herbal superior stock, which gives the dish a fragrant, savoury broth that we found especially comforting.

Of course, no visit to Seafood Paradise would feel quite complete without its Popular Singapore Style Chilli Crab. Made with live crab and served with deep-fried buns, it comes with plenty of that rich, sweet and savoury chilli crab sauce that you will want to mop up with the buns.

For something beyond seafood, the Roasted Chicken in Szechuan Pepper Sauce is worth a look. The roasted chicken is paired with a fragrant Szechuan pepper sauce, bringing a gentle numbing spice to the dish without overpowering the meat.

We also had the Stewed Ee-Fu Noodle with Seafood in Claypot, which arrived piping hot with springy noodles, seafood and a savoury sauce. It makes for a hearty option to share towards the end of the meal.

The menu isn’t limited to seafood either. During lunch, diners can also order a selection of Hong Kong dim sum handcrafted by a master Hong Kong chef, covering steamed, fried and baked favourites.
With the move to Scotts Square, Seafood Paradise is now a little more convenient for anyone looking to fit a seafood meal into an Orchard shopping day. The restaurant’s new location also makes it suitable for larger family meals, business gatherings and celebrations, with private rooms available for those who prefer a more intimate setting.
