Tiffany & Co. has brought its iconic Blue Box Café to Singapore, marking the first official Blue Box Café in Southeast Asia. Located on the third floor of the brand’s newly renovated flagship boutique at ION Orchard, the café marks Tiffany & Co.’s expansion into luxury hospitality.

The café was developed in collaboration with Chef Julien Royer, chef-owner of three-Michelin-starred Odette and Claudine. The menu brings together French and American influences with Asian flavours and ingredients, offering a selection of all-day dishes and desserts.

The café itself is a compact space with just over 20 seats, but thoughtful design makes it feel larger than it is. The interiors were designed by renowned architect Peter Marino, whose work draws inspiration from Tiffany & Co.’s iconic Fifth Avenue flagship in New York.

Naturally, Tiffany Blue takes centre stage. The colour covers much of the space, from the walls and furnishings to the tableware, while Tiffany Blue boxes are suspended from the ceiling as a statement installation.

Framed photographs of Audrey Hepburn add another layer of character to the space, while patterned flooring and striped seating bring a slightly more playful touch to the otherwise polished interiors.

The all-day dining menu features a mix of familiar dishes given a more refined treatment.

One of the dishes we tried was the Confit Yellow Chicken ($48++), Chef Julien Royer’s interpretation of Singapore’s chicken rice. The dish pairs tender confit chicken with claypot-cooked Niigata rice, topped with crispy chicken skin for added texture. Grilled maitake mushrooms accompany the rice, while an Albufera sauce is poured tableside. The combination gives the familiar chicken rice format a more elevated presentation, while edible flowers add a final touch to the plate.

The Tiffany Burger ($34++) offers something more indulgent and familiar. Made with a Wagyu and Angus beef blend, the burger comes with a thick patty that was juicy and flavourful, paired with cocktail sauce and a generous serving of thick-cut fries.

For dessert, the SniX is a playful nod to Snickers and Twix, combining chocolate, caramel and nutty flavours in a fun take on the classic chocolate bars, with contrasting textures that make each bite interesting.

Tiffany Island, meanwhile, puts a whimsical spin on the French Île Flottante, pairing a light, airy meringue with creamy and sweet elements for a delicate finish that is less heavy than you might expect.

For something in between a meal and an afternoon indulgence, the café also serves Tea at Tiffany’s, featuring a selection of savouries, pastries and cakes served on Tiffany & Co.’s signature three-tiered stand.
