RITUEL TOKYO has launched its first international outlet at Takashimaya Shopping Centre, bringing its French-inspired pastries and Salon de Thé experience to Orchard Road. For a limited time, its Singapore-exclusive BOUQUET de Afternoon Tea is available at a promotional price of $100++ per set for two, down from the regular $118++.

Unlike the more savoury-heavy afternoon teas commonly found in Singapore, RITUEL’s BOUQUET de Afternoon Tea leans heavily into sweets and pastries. The three-tiered set is filled with bite-sized desserts inspired by French patisserie, alongside a few savoury bites, making it a good pick if you have more of a sweet tooth.

The first tier starts with an Egg Salad Brioche Stick, a soft brioche bite filled with creamy egg salad, followed by a refreshing Cucumber Sandwich and a classic Financier with its buttery, earl grey flavour.

Moving on to the second tier, the Flower Chocolate Petit Choux brings a chocolatey take on the classic French choux pastry, while the Mango Bouquet Tart combines fruity mango flavours with a delicate tart base. There is also a Scone paired with cream and jam for a more traditional afternoon tea touch, alongside a Canelé with its caramelised exterior and soft, custardy centre.

The Peach Panna Cotta is light and creamy with a fruity peach profile, while the Lavender Macaron adds a subtle floral note that balances the other sweet treats. Rounding things off is the Opera, a classic French layered cake made with coffee and chocolate flavours.

The afternoon tea also comes with RITUEL’s signature wagon service, where diners can choose one house-made dessert from a selection brought directly to the table. The experience includes one sparkling tea and one beverage of choice per person.

For those who want more of RITUEL’s floral-inspired desserts, the Singapore-exclusive Brioche Flower Donuts are also available à la carte. The Yuzu Lemon Brioche Flower Donut is priced at $16, while the Strawberry Brioche Flower Donut costs $18. Both are made with pumpkin-enriched brioche dough and shaped like flowers, with surprisingly light textures despite their enriched dough.

Another standout is the Chocolat Chaud with Chantilly Cream ($18), made with Valrhona chocolate and served with house-made Chantilly cream. The cream can be gradually stirred into the hot chocolate, letting diners adjust the richness and sweetness to their liking.
