Sunshine Bakeries has added a Japanese-inspired snack to its range with the launch of Sunshine Dorayaki, available islandwide from 21 August 2026.
Priced at S$2 each, the individually packed dorayaki features a soft and fluffy pancake made with premium Hokkaido milk, paired with a filling in the centre. The new range comes in four flavours: Uji Matcha, Azuki Red Bean, Cheese and Taro.
For those who prefer bolder Japanese flavours, the Uji Matcha Dorayaki pairs the pillowy pancake with an earthy, slightly bitter matcha filling. The matcha gives the snack a more pronounced tea flavour without taking away from the sweetness of the pancake.
The Azuki Red Bean Dorayaki takes a more classic approach, with a smooth and sweet red bean filling that complements the soft pancake. It is a familiar combination for fans of traditional Japanese desserts.
The Cheese Dorayaki offers something a little different, combining the fluffy Hokkaido milk pancake with a creamy cheese filling. The lightly savoury cheese adds contrast to the naturally sweet pancake.
For something richer, the Taro Dorayaki comes with a smooth taro filling that has a sweet, dessert-like flavour.
The new range is designed as an everyday snack, whether for a quick bite during work, a lunchbox treat or something to have with a cup of tea. With each dorayaki individually packed, they are also convenient to bring along on the go.
Sunshine Dorayaki is available islandwide at major supermarkets, hypermarkets and convenience stores from 21 August 2026 at S$2 each.
