Tai Cheong Bakery is celebrating 10 years in Singapore with the opening of its 11th outlet at ION Orchard, alongside a new line-up of bakes and drinks created specially for the milestone.

The new outlet also marks the Singapore debut of Tai Cheong Bakery’s first-ever savoury tarts, with two new flavours available exclusively at ION Orchard.

The Lo Mai Kai Tart ($4) combines the familiar savoury flavours of lo mai kai with Tai Cheong Bakery’s buttery tart pastry, giving the classic dim sum favourite a different format.

The Truffle Scallop Tart ($4) pairs tender scallops with aromatic truffle on the bakery’s buttery pastry base, making for a richer and more indulgent savoury option.

Also exclusive to the ION Orchard outlet is the Kamcha Hong Kong Style Milk Tea ($3.80), a bottled drink made with Ceylon black tea and evaporated milk. It has a rich, smooth and full-bodied tea flavour with the creamy finish typical of Hong Kong-style milk tea.

Beyond the ION Orchard exclusives, Tai Cheong Bakery has also launched a new cookie collection available across all its Singapore outlets.

Ember ($18) combines hazelnut with purple sweet potato for a nutty, lightly sweet bite, while Roast ($18) brings coffee into a crisp and buttery cookie.

Bloom ($18) uses green pea for a savoury-sweet flavour, while Luxe ($18) features cashew for a richer nutty taste. The cookies are delicately crisp with a buttery texture that melts in the mouth.

Tai Cheong Bakery’s signature Hong Kong-style egg tarts continue to be available across its outlets. Freshly baked in-store without preservatives, they come with the bakery’s familiar buttery cookie crust and smooth egg custard filling.
