A new rooftop destination is set to join Singapore’s dining scene as Xava Skybar officially opens on 1 August 2026 at National Gallery Singapore. Perched above one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, the 7,000 square foot venue offers sweeping views of the Civic District alongside an internationally inspired food and cocktail programme designed to transition seamlessly from daytime dining to evening nightlife.
Xava Skybar is the latest concept from the team behind Center of the Universe (C.O.T.U), a hospitality group that has shaped Southeast Asia’s dining and nightlife landscape for more than two decades. Its portfolio includes well known venues such as Filter, Bang Bang, Zouk Kuala Lumpur, Attica, Le Noir, Barouv, Abriza and the recently launched C.O.T.U at CapitaGreen, which combines multiple dining and entertainment concepts within a single destination.
Designed to appeal to both local diners and international visitors, Xava Skybar transforms throughout the day. Guests can enjoy a relaxed rooftop lounge atmosphere in the afternoon, gather over shared plates in the evening and experience a vibrant sky bar after sunset against Singapore’s illuminated skyline.

One of the venue’s standout features is a bespoke LED ceiling installation that serves as a living digital canvas. Inspired by its location within National Gallery Singapore, the immersive display showcases rotating digital artworks, atmospheric visuals and lighting compositions that change throughout the day, from tranquil cloudscapes and warm sunset tones to dynamic evening displays. The installation will continue to evolve through seasonal commissions and collaborations with artists, ensuring every visit offers a fresh visual experience.

Leading the project is an experienced hospitality team comprising M Sanjivan, Phillip Poon, Cher Ng, Mikey Manjit Singh and Cedric Chong, all of whom have played key roles in developing some of the region’s most recognised nightlife concepts.

The culinary programme focuses on globally inspired cuisine prepared with premium ingredients and contemporary techniques. Signature dishes include the Obsiblue King Prawn Mosaic priced at S$26, featuring king prawns with tomato gelée and lobster cream, and the Bourbon Glazed Beef Short Ribs at S$29, served with corn purée and potato cream. Other highlights include Duck Lasagne for S$12, Petite Lobster Rolls at S$30 and Mini Cheeseburger Skewers priced at S$14.

Complementing the menu is a cocktail selection led by Group Head Mixologist Yazid, whose experience includes luxury hotels, Michelin recognised restaurants and award-winning cocktail bars. Signature drinks include Mango Hour at S$24, made with Ketel One Vodka, glutinous rice, mango, coconut, Sapporo Lager and mango caviar, Purple Tide at S$24 featuring Don Julio Blanco, Midori Melon, watermelon, coconut, Greek yogurt and lemon, and the XAVA Sling at S$24, a tropical interpretation of Singapore’s iconic cocktail crafted with Another Hendrick’s Gin, guava, pineapple, longan honey and lemon.
For weekday diners and business meetings, Xava Skybar will also offer a curated lunch set menu. Guests can choose between a two-course menu priced at S$38++ or a three-course menu at S$48++, featuring a selection of the venue’s signature dishes that showcase its contemporary international approach.
Opening on 1 August 2026, Xava Skybar adds another distinctive rooftop destination to Singapore’s hospitality scene, combining elevated dining, creative cocktails, immersive art and panoramic views in the heart of the city’s cultural district.
